How to save money tip #2- Bows and wrapping paper

Could you create your own wrapping paper and save some money? Yes, you could. Is this hard? I don't think so.

What do you have to do to make your own unique wrapping paper? Here's what:

You need some grocery bags (brown would be great) and some craft-like paint for design. Wrap the gift and then be creative. It's all up to you.

You should do something that relates to your child's interests. For example, if you have a boy that likes cars, you could try to make a design that he will enjoy.

Try making a road with some black and yellow paint. Find a little truck and dip it's wheels into a red paint. Now comes the fun part. Roll the tires on the paper and make some tracks. Your boy will simply love this! I don't know what he will enjoy most: the gift or it's wrapping paper :)

You can also glue a couple of miniature trucks to the paper and draw a stop sign and so on. You are the artist here :)

If you have a girl and she loves flowers, you could draw some beautiful flowers and create miniature bows from some fabric that you have and glue them on the paper. I'm sure you will came up with a lot more wonderful ideas to make your children happy.
