Feeling tired? If you are then maybe this will help a little bit.
Maybe you feel tired and weak with lack of energy, and you feel like you could fall down at any moment. It feels like you’ve been running 40 miles without stopping. And this might be alright if it happened now and then, but it happens very often. So, you naturally ask yourself: “How do I stop feeling tired?”
Well, there are some good ways of getting over this nasty state of weakness and lack of energy, but I’m not going to go over them here. All I want to point out in this post is something more important than vitamins or something related. And I’m going to do this by asking you this question:
When you ask someone what should you do to stop feeling tired, what do they normally tell you? Is it something like: “Take some vitamins. I do and I stopped feeling tired.” or “You should relax and sleep more than usual and you will feel great!” So you go to the local pharmacy and buy some vitamins and then head straight to bed. And after 8-10 hours of sleep or maybe even more you feel great.
I guess this could work in some cases, but what it mostly does is make you feel even more tired, or you initially feel good but soon after you start feeling tired again.
I sometimes feel very tired too, and I tried different methods of getting over this and I like one in particular. I call it “Feeling tired? Get to work then!”. I guess it’s sort of the exact opposite of what you would normally do when feeling tired, but it works great for me and I hope it helps you as well. So here it goes.
When you start feeling tired don’t go rushing to the nearest pharmacy just because someone told you so. Instead, stop for a second and ...take a short nap. Just kidding :) Stop and ask yourself this “What can I do right now to feel even more tired?” Now, I’m sure you weren’t expecting this! You might be saying “Are you out of you’re mind?”
I probably am but that’s another story ! The idea is that when you start feeling tired you have to battle it in a different way than vitamins if you want to get rid of it once and for all or at least be to be ready for it when it comes again.
In order to do this you have to put the pedal to the medal and when you feel tired you have to do something that will get you even more tired!!! I’ve done this recently when I was tired after a long day and in the evening I had an invitation to a concert.
It was going to be a great concert and I really wanted to go and even if I could hardly walk I decided I wouldn’t let this little tiredness stop me (and I wanted to retest my “Feeling tired? Get to work then!” strategy again). So I went and I’m so glad I did! It was the best concert I have ever gone to in my life!
And I danced and danced until I felt that I would fall down. I was feeling tired and weak with lack of energy at some point, but believe or not I pushed it even harder and danced some more :) By the time I got home I was feeling a little tired but I was very, very happy that I didn’t let this stop me.
I’ve proven once again that even if I’m tired I still got a lot of energy left. And you have too! Even if you feel very tired, know that you probably have more than 80% of your energy still left and waiting for a chance to get out!!! It’s true! You probably heard that us, humans only use 2% of our mental capacities! 2%! Can You believe this!
And people that use 4% are the geniuses of our world! The idea is that we are only using 2% and just look at all the things that we do each day, and the things that we achieve! Just think if we were to use 4%, 6% or even more! Man, wouldn’t that be amazing? It’s the same idea with the energy. Even though you are feeling tired and weak with lack of energy, you still have a lot more energy than you might think, so use it!
Well that’s kind of all my two cents and I really hope that this little trick will help you as it helped me. “Feeling tired? Get to work then!”
