Regarding the last post "Time pressure - Is it bad or good for you?", I wanted to point out something and I think I got a little carried away and missed my target. So here I am to straighten things out. What I wanted to talk about in that post, except what I already said, was that sometimes you have days when you aren’t that organized and it could turn out to be a good thing after all. And another great thing about doing things on the last 100 meters is that it often gives you an unbelievable motivation to get the job done.
This is also the case in my former example from my last post. I was so motivated in finishing that project and not just finish it but do it in a great way, that eventually I hit my target right in the center. The thought that I was pressured by time seemed to work wonders on me. I was excited in getting this project done because I knew I had a pretty good chance of impressing my teacher because of the length and depth of the project.
That image of the teacher praising the project was all I needed to put in 200% and in the end I think I’ve even broke that barrier and I know you can do it as well. You just need something to do it for. You need a clear image of the reward your are going to get if you do a good job. I was so motivated that on the way to school I felt like I was literally flying and I couldn’t wait to see the reaction of my teacher and colleagues. And it was even more than I expected it to be. I truly hope you also experience this as often as possible because it’s damn great!
Now this can or can not be the case for you. You could do well under pressure or you could crack. The idea here is to try a couple of times to intentionally put yourself under pressure and see how you react to it. If this works and you discover that you do well under pressure you made a great discovery that could be he difference between success and failure for you!
And if you find yourself stuck and realize that you aren’t so good with doing things under pressure then it’s no big deal. It’s time well spent because you found out something that you aren’t that good at and either must avoid doing or could try to improve on it. So it’s a good thing to do in my opinion, but do it more than once to have a clear result. I suggest you do it at least 4 times.
Well, that’s kind of what I wanted to say and I hope it gave you a couple of good ideas to try on. Have an inspired day!
I embrace you,
Razvan Dobre

Time pressure is good if you're not going to get the job done on your own, but that means you're not committed to it to begin with. That can include school and work projects, though you shouldn't be attending school or work if you don't enjoy it.
There should be no reason to place time constraints on your writing of personal development articles, because you don't need any pressure. You love what you do and it will take as long as it needs and no longer. If you cut that short, your cutting yourself short. That is transcending time limits.
Thanks for your comment, Richard!
The time pressure technique is useful in some cases and for some people. It should be tested and used only if it works.
I embrace you,
Razvan
